It gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard, then a step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is somewhat consistent (6/10) and is long enough to spread out any crowd (4/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the East, South, and Southeast. It works on all tides.
