Located in Northern Oregon, Indian Beach is a fun beachy that breaks over a rock and sand bottom. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and can break for up to 50 meters providing some fun sections for manoeuvres or cruising. The beach is stunning even if the waves are a bit lacklustre, a great place to bring the family or friends.
What are the best surf conditions for Indian Beach?
Gets good from chest high to overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when bigger. This beach is suitable for all levels of surfers. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and will usually have a crew on it (7/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Southwest. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 4/3 wetsuit in the summer when water temps rise to 14 degrees. In winter we recommend wearing a 5/4 with temps dropping to 9 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
