What are the best surf conditions for 37th Street?
Gets good from waist high to head high. We recommend riding a longboard here most days and a shortboard if the swell is big. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and is generally uncrowded (3/10). The best winds are from the Northwest. The best swells are from the Southeast. Low to mid tides are best.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 30 degrees. In winter a 3/2 is fine for the 17 degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
