The waves here are generally easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters, providing great sections for cruising and manoeuvres. Dale Velzy started surfing here, this beach has a lot of history. Gets good from waist high to triple overhead. We recommend a longboard here generally and a shortboard when bigger. This break is best for intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is consistent (7/10) but will always have a crew (7/10). The sandbars work on all tides. The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the South, Southwest, and West.
