Located in South Bay, Los Angeles County, D&W is a quality right-hand jetty set up that offers up some hollow waves when the conditions line up. It can be challenging to surf here, the waves break for up to 20 meters (but often section) over a sand bottom.

What are the best surf conditions for D&W?

Gets good between chest high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard here if it is working. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here does not break very often (3/10) and will get insanely crowded (9/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Northwest. Works on a mid-tide.
