Located in the Southern Mentawai Islands, Indonesia, KFC’s is an excellent right-hand reef break, little brother to Macaronis, that offers up long rippable walls. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 150 meters over a coral bottom. Sits on the opposite side of the bay from Macaronis.
What are the best surf conditions for KFC’s?
Gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers.
