Located in Lampung, West Sumatra, Mandiri is a peaky beach break (also a swell magnet here) that offers up some good, punchy sections for tearing into. The waves here are straightforward to surf with none of the consequences of a sharp reef, breaking for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom.

Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard then step up when bigger.
