Located in Bengkulu, West Sumatra, Bengkulu Beach is a fun beach break that offers up some decent lefts and rights for practicing turns and getting the occasional cover up. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Bengkulu Beach?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard then shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is very consistent (8/10) and will generally have a crew on it (6/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the South, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
