Located in South Algarve, Portugal, Zavial is a fun wedging break that offers up a fast, hollow, powerful right. The waves here can be tricky to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. Locals here have the spot dialled, it can be very tricky to get a wave off of them.

What are the best surf conditions for Zavial?

Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller or a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer.
