Located South of Lisbon, Portugal, Sesimbra is a section of the coast that plays host to a handful of beach breaks that offer up some performance peaks on the rare occasions that they break. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a sand bottom. The coastline is absolutely gorgeous, come even if there aren’t waves.
What are the best surf conditions for Sesimbra?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here hardly ever breaks (2/10) and won’t be crowded when it does (3/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Northwest, South, Southwest, and West (and BIG). Works on all tides.
