Located in Northeast Puerto Rico, Leeward Islands, La Ocho is a fun reef break with a long and rippable right accompanied by a short dredging left. The waves here can be tricky to surf and break for up to 500 meters on the right over a rock bottom. The wave isn’t the steepest but is very good for practising manoeuvres in less critical sections. Cleanup sets are common due to the deep water close to the lineup, keep an eye out.
