Located in Northwest Puerto Rico, Leeward Islands, Montones is a fun reef break that offers up some hollow sections when the conditions line up. The waves here are not easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters over a coral reef. Has some wind protection.

Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up as the size increases. This break is suitable for intermediate to advanced-level surfers.
