South Curl Curl is a mixed bag of waves with the occasional ‘point’ style wave near the ocean pool, other times it is a shorey and often it is just a lot varied sandbanks. Waves often bounce off the rocky headland and make peaks, this can be a blessing or a curse depending on how far along the wave you catch it. Good waves are the ones that just power down the line.
