Located in Southern Morocco, Yoyo is a quality right-point break that offers up a shallow, barreling ride. The waves here are difficult to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a rock bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Yoyo?
Gets good between waist-high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard and then a step up as the size increases. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and will hardly ever be crowded due to difficult access (3/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In the winter a 3/2 is best when water temperatures only drop to 18 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
