Located in Northern Morocco, Mehdya Plage is a fun right-hand jetty break that offers up some good sections for manoeuvres. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 150 meters over a sand bottom. There are a couple of other waves here: A left at the North Jetty, a left at the rivermouth, and some good beach break in town. This is the cradle of surfing in Morocco, first surfed by Americans from the military base nearby.
