Imsouane Bay is a fun point break located in the small traditional fishing village of Imsouane. The spot is very great for intermediate surfers and long boarders. The wave, which starts working from 3ft, wraps into the the well-protected south-facing bay and provides one of the longest right-handers in the world. On a good day, with a W-NW swell and northerly wind, it can break for more than 600 meters.
The first section usually only works at low tide and you can enter the water from the port. When paddling out, try to stay as close as possible to the wall as the current there is very strong. When the waves get bigger, it is recommended to jump off the reef behind the harbour.
Between mid and high tide, the last section of the wave offers opportunities for beginners. Because the wave is pretty mellow, it can get a bit crowded with surfers from the camps in the area.
