Located in East London, South Africa, Nahoon Beach Break is a good beach break near Nahoon Reef that throws up fun sections more suitable for all levels of surfer. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf at size and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Nahoon Beach?
Nahoon Beach gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard then step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will get very crowded (8/10). The best winds are from the Northwest, Southwest, and West. The best swells are from the Northeast, Southeast, and East. Works best on a mid to high tide.
