Located in the Outer Banks in North Carolina, Ocracoke is an OK beachy that breaks over shifty sandbars. The waves here require a bit of surf know how to surf well and break for up to 150 meters going from steep to mushy and then back to steep. The steep sections are quite fast. Park at the airport and walk to the beach.

Gets good from waist high to a little overhead. We recommend a longboard when smaller and your fastest shortboard when bigger. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers.
