Located in Palm Beach County in Southeastern Florida, Coral Cove Park is a fun reef break that crashes over a reef and sand bottom. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters throwing up some perfect little left barrels. This wave is steep and fast.
What are the best surf conditions for Coral Cove Park?
Gets good from waist-high to double overhead. A longboard will work here when smaller but a shortboard is the play when there is any size. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and can get quite crowded (8/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the North and Northeast. Works best on low to mid tides.
We recommend wearing board shorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 30 degrees. In winter a springsuit is perfect for the 22-degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
