Located in Sonoma County, California, the Russian Rivermouth is a good sandbar set up that offers up some heaving barrels when the sand, swell, and wind lines up (not often). The waves here are not easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a sand bottom. Also, this spot is basically Mcdonald’s for the big grey fellows. Keeps the crowds down I suppose.
