Located in Costa Verde, Peru, Makaha is a fun beach break that offers up some slopey, rippable waves that border a jetty with a famous restaurant. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters (about 328 feet) over a boulder and sand bottom. Paddling around for the outside sets can be difficult, so bring a floaty board. This is one of the centres of Peruvian surf culture, so have fun!
