Located in Piura, Peru, El Nuro is a fun left-hand reef break that offers up some rippable and crumbly walls when the Northern swells hit. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 100 meters (328 feet) over a rock and sand bottom. You’ll need a 4WD to get here.

What are the best surf conditions for El Nuro?

El Nuro gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfers.
