Located in Southern Peru, Playa Mollendo is a fun beach break that is quite consistent and offers up some rippable waves or mushier sections for beginners. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a sand bottom. When the size picks up, this is not the place to be.
What are the best surf conditions for Playa Mollendo?
Playa Mollendo gets good between waist-high and overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if it’s smaller, and a shortboard as it gets bigger. This spot is suitable for all levels of surfers.
