Located in Chicama, Peru, Punta Huanchaco is another quality left-hand point break that offers up long, easygoing but rippable rides. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 600 meters (about 1969 ft) over a rock and sand bottom. This might be the home of the world’s first surfers; people here have been riding the lefts back to shore in reed boats for 2000 years.
