Conchitas Surf Report and Surf forecast

Located in Ancash, Peru, Conchitas is a quality right-hand reef break that offers up rippable waves. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters (about 328 ft) over a rock and sand bottom. The beach can be a bit crowded in the summer, so don’t leave valuables on the beach.

What are the best surf conditions for Conchitas?

Conchitas gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will get busy at peak times (5/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the North, Northwest, and West. Works on all tides.
