Isla Dama Surf Report and Surf forecast

Located in Atacama, Chile, Isla Dama is a small island that offers up a few breaks, one of which is a sweet right-hand reef that can be excellent in the right conditions. The waves here can be challenging and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a rock bottom. Getting there is a bit long-winded, requiring a 2-hour boat cruise from Punta Choros. The island is frequented by sea lions and penguins, making for an extra scenic trip. If you don’t have the 2-hour boat ride in you, local knowledge indicates there are a few beachies north of the pier back towards Punta Choros.
