Located in south Bahia, Brazil, Pedra da Cachorra is a pretty good but highly consistent beach break that offers up some rippable peaks in the right conditions. On bigger swells, a left will materialize outside of “Pedra” (rock). The waves here are not easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a sand bottom.

Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard if smaller and a shortboard and then a step up as the size increases.
