Located in South Bahia, Brazil, Norte is a fun beach break that stretches for 50 KM offering up some good barrels for the whole length. The waves here can be difficult to surf and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a sand bottom. There are several spots to get to the beach along its length.
What are the best surf conditions for Norte?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard and then a step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will generally be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works on a low to mid-tide best.
