Located in South Bahia, Brazil, Havaizinho is a fun series of beach breaks that offer up some powerful sections when it’s working. The waves here require skill to surf and break for up to 50 meters (164 feet) over a rock and sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Havaizinho?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard and then a step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here is not the most consistent (4/10) and will generally be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works on a low to mid-tide best.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year-round. Water temperatures range between 29°C (84°F) and 26°C (79°F). See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
