Located in South Bahia, Brazil, Baduska is a quality reef break that offers up some of the longest right-handers in Brazil that are high-performance oriented. The waves here require some skill to surf and break for up to 200 meters (656 feet) over a rock and sand bottom.
What are the best surf conditions for Baduska?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard and then a step up as the size increases. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced-level surfers. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will have a crew on it (7/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year round. Water temperatures range between 29°C (84°F) and 26°C (79°F). See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
