More on Makaha Point
Located on Oahu, facing Southwest, Makaha Point is one of the most historic breaks on the island. There are a few breaks here suitable for different skill levels, both lefts and rights available. The inside reef is great for groms and beginner longboarders. There’s a middle peak that has both a left and right perfect for performance surfing or cruising depending on the day and your style. The point is a big right-hander that can hold a good amount of size, and links into the Bowl, which can be a close-out or good barrel depending on the wave choice. The waves here range from approachable to very challenging (on big swells) and break for up to 100 meters over coral reefs.
