More on Seaside Cove

Located in Northern Oregon, Seaside Cove is a decent reef break that peels over a rock and sand bottom. The waves here can be a bit tricky to surf and break for up to 100 meters, providing some great sections for cruising and manoeuvres.

What are the best surf conditions for Seaside Cove?

Gets good from chest high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard most days and a shortboard when bigger. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and is sometimes busy on weekends (5/10). The best winds for the cove are East. The best swells are from the West. The best tides are mid to high.

We recommend wearing a 4/3 wetsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 14 degrees. More...
