More on Boilers Bay
Located in Northern Oregon, Boilers Bay is a pretty good reef break that peels over a rock and sand reef. The waves here are sketchy and difficult, breaking for 50 meters and throwing out some amazing tubes when it’s on. There will be a peanut gallery on the cliffs.
What are the best surf conditions for Boilers Bay?
Gets good from head high to double overhead. A shortboard or step up is required to surf here. This break is best for intermediate and advanced surfers, anyone else has a death wish. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) and is generally uncrowded (4/10). The best winds come from the South. The best swell directions are from the Northwest and West. Works best on a mid to low tide.
