More on Agate Beach

Located in Central Northern Oregon, Agate Beach is a fun, well-known beachy that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here are pretty straightforward to surf and break for up to 100 meters providing some great sections for manoeuvres.

What are the best surf conditions for Agate Beach?

Gets good between head high to double overhead. Longboards are the play here on smaller days, but a shortboard is king on the bigger days. This beach is suitable for all surfers depending on the size of the swell. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will be pretty crowded, especially on smaller days (7/10). Offshore winds come from the East. The corner provides some protection from north winds. Takes in all swells from the Southwest, West, and Northwest. Works on all tides.
