Located in Rhode Island, Misquamicut is a fun beach break that peels over a sand bottom. The waves here are easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters providing some great sections for manoeuvres.
What are the best surf conditions for Misquamicut?
Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size steps up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is not consistent (4/10) and can be crowded (7/10). The best winds are from the North. The best swells are from the South, Southeast, and East. Works on low to mid tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 21 degrees. In winter a 5/4 is the move when water temperatures plunge to 1 degree. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
