Located in New Hampshire, Jennes each is a fun beach break that rolls over a sand bottom. The waves here aren’t too hard to surf and break for up to 100 meters, providing some epic sections for longboarding or learning.
What are the best surf conditions for Jenness Beach?
Gets good from waist-high to overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This beach is perfect for all levels of surfer. The surf here sometimes is breaking (4/10) and can get very crowded, especially in summer (8/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, and Southeast. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 19 degrees. In winter a 5/4 is the call when water temperatures drop to 4 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
