Located on Cape Cod in Massachusetts, Marconi Beach is a fun beachy, breaking over rock and sand bottom. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 150 meters providing some great barrels when good.
What are the best surf conditions for Marconi Beach?
Gets good from chest high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when bigger. This beach is suitable for all levels of surfer, but beginners should steer clear when there is swell in the water. There is usually something breaking here (5/10) and the beach can get busy in summers (5/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the Northeast and Southeast. Works best on mid-tide.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 20 degrees. In winter a 5/4 is the play for the 3-degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
