Located south of Boston in Massachusetts, Egypt Beach is a fun beachy, breaking over a sand bottom. The waves here can be punchy, breaking for up to 100 meters providing some great sections for manoeuvres.
What are the best surf conditions for Egypt Beach?
Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here when smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is consistent (7/10) which leads to crowds (8/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the East, Northeast, and Southeast. Works best on low to mid tides.
We recommend wearing a spring suit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 20 degrees. In winter a 5/4 is the play for the 3-degree water. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
