More on Isla Blanca State Park

Located in the gulf coast of Texas, Isla Blanca State Park is a quality jetty setup that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 100 meters putting up some fast, walled sections perfect for manoeuvres.

What are the best surf conditions for Isla Blanca State Park?

Gets good from waist high to overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here most days and a shortboard when the size really arrives. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (7/10) and will usually have a crew on it or a big party on the beach (7/10). The best winds are from the West. The best swells are from the Southeast. Works best on a low to mid-tide.
