Located on the East coast of Florida, North Jetty is a fun jetty setup that breaks over a sand bottom. The waves here require a bit of skill to surf and break for up to 200 meters providing some great sections for manoeuvres. Dominated by longboarders, short boarders usually get the scraps here.
What are the best surf conditions for North Jetty?
Gets good from waist high to double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here most days and a shortboard when the size picks up. The break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is somewhat consistent (5/10) and is usually insanely crowded (10/10). The best winds are from the Southwest. The best swells are from the East, North, Northeast, South, and Southeast. Works best on mid to high tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini in the summer when water temperatures rise to 28 degrees. In winter a 4/3 is best when water temperatures fall to 15 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
