What are the best surf conditions for Campus Point?
Gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend a longboard when smaller and a shortboard when bigger. Campus point is best for intermediate and advanced surfers. the surf here is not very consistent (4/10) and will be packed with students most of the time (9/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are anything big with some West in it. Works best on lower tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in the summer when water temperatures rise to 17 degrees. In winter a 4/3 will work best with temps being a brisk 13 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
