Located in Southern Orange County, Southern California, Poche Beach is a decent beachy that breaks over a boulder and sand bottom. The waves here are pretty easy to surf and break for up to 50 meters. Usually, a bit mushy, the waves offer opportunities for cruising, but when peaky gets good for manoeuvres.
What are the best surf conditions for Poche Beach?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard when smaller and mushy and a shortboard when bigger and peakier. Beginners thru advanced surfers will find something here depending on the day. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and gets very crowded over the summer (8/10).
