What are the best surf conditions for Surfside Jetty?
Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend a shortboard or step up here. This break is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers. The surf here is very inconsistent (3/10) and will be crowded when it does break (8/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. It needs a big West swell to start working. Only breaks well on lower tides.
We recommend wearing a 3/2 wetsuit in the summer here when water temperatures rise to 20 degrees. In the winter a 4/3 is best when the water temperatures fall to 15 degrees. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
