More on Asu
Located in the Hinako Islands, Asu is a hefty left-hander that delivers some serious tubes and monstrous bowls prime for top-to-bottom shredding. You can count on this bad boy to deliver; it’s head high minimum and can hold up to some serious 10 foot-plus bombs for those game to go big. It’s good to go on all tides, and when the swell picks up, the take-offs mellow out and the walls are ripe for a solid tear-up. It’s no kiddie pool, though, make sure you’re gunning it to dodge the bone-crunching end section, or you might be nursing a reef cuts with a twist of lime!
