Ebay and Surf forecast

Located in the Northern Mentawai Islands, Ebay is an excellent left-hand reef set-up that offers up picture-perfect barrels across the curved reef. The waves here are not easy to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a coral reef. Not a supercritical wave, but the consequences are still sharp (pun intended).

What are the best surf conditions for Ebay?

Gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here sometimes has a wave (4/10) and will get busy at times (5/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the West. Works on a mid-tide best.
