More on Pantai Marosi

Located in Sumba, Indonesia, Pantai Marosi is a quality, deepwater reef setup that offers up a powerful righthander in big SW swells. The waves here can be challenging and break for up to 100 meters over a coral reef. On small swells the inside beach break is good.

What are the best surf conditions for Pantai Marosi?

Gets good between overhead and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or a step-up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will generally have a crew (7/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Southwest and West. Works on all tides.

We recommend wearing boardshorts or a bikini year-round here. Water temperatures rise to 28 More...
