More on Raijua

Located in Savu, Indonesia, Raijua has a couple of breaks, the best being a long left-hand reef that offers up some great barrel sections. The waves here can be challenging and break for up to 200 meters over a coral reef. Not that easy to get to, the island is desolate so get a boat.

What are the best surf conditions for Raijua?

Gets good between waist high and triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard here if smaller and then a step up as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and will generally be uncrowded (4/10). The best winds are from the Southeast. The best swells are from the Southwest and West. Works best on a low to mid-tide.
