More on Ceningans

Located in East Bali, Indonesia, Ceningans is the swell magnet of the island, a left-hand reef that offers up some bowling, powerful sections great for manoeuvres. The waves here are pretty heavy, breaking from deep water for up to 100 meters over a coral reef. Breaks just underneath a cliff with a temple on top.

What are the best surf conditions for Ceningans?

Gets good between waist high and double overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard or step-up here. This wave is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here is super consistent (9/10) and will generally have a crew (6/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the Southwest. Works on a low tide best. A good spot to come to when the swell and winds are down.More...
