Not even checked out but I have to raise a view point. I don’t think the next 2 days will change my view on this property.
Don’t expect someone to greet U in the morning when U come to the pool.
Don’t expect someone to come to your pool loungers and offer you towels or water or even drinks. You have to go to the bar yourself and request service.
The views, peacefulness and friendly staff are amazing hence the average rating.
But there is massive room for improvement
The breakfast menu is the same every morning. No cereal, no bread, no butter, no jam. Just what is on the menu.
Every day the same thing. Hence we had breakfast at other hotels and spent our money there instead.
Lying by the pool, no one ever came around to see if we wanted drinks or food. You are losing revenue. It’s annoying if I have to get up each time and go to the bar and ask for drinks or food. Attend to your guests…it’s called hospitality, it’s called service. We pay to be treated like guests. Again, we went to other properties so spend our money there cause the pool service is non existent.
Lastly, went to the spa. I have a knee operation due and needed some muscles to be massaged upon Dr request I told the reception, I told my massage therapist and her friend the same thing. I told them exactly what they had to do and how. After 50min I was told thank you we are done. Not once during the treatment did the therapist even touch the pressure points that I needed to be worked on. Was more into rubbing oil on my body then anything else. Needless to say, I went the next day to another spa for treatment.
Such a beautiful property but you have work to do. During the entire stay did we not even encounter a manager or supervisor or someone coming around to see how our stay was. Just a warm welcome, a greeting…a sense of care…nothing.
You’ve lost me as a repeat guest for sure
