Located in the Huvadhoo Atoll, Indian Ocean, Cafe Breaks is an excellent reef break that offers up a very high performance right hander. The waves here can be challenging to surf and break for up to 200 meters over a coral reef.
What are the best surf conditions for Cafe Breaks?
Gets good between head high to triple overhead. We recommend riding a shortboard then step up here as the size picks up. This break is suitable for intermediate and advanced level surfers. The surf here usually has something to ride (5/10) and will be uncrowded (2/10). The best winds are from the East. The best swells are from the South, Southwest, and West. Works on all tides.
We recommend wearing boardshorts and a bikini here as water temperatures range between 29 and 27 year round. See the temperature chart below for more data on this.
